"I have an idea that the only thing which makes it possible to regard this world we live in without disgust is the beauty which now and then people create out of the chaos. The pictures they paint, the music they compose, the books they write, and the lives they lead. Of all these the richest in beauty is the beautiful life. That is the perfect work of art." -- W. Somerset Maugham

Thank you for joining LITERATE SUNDAY!

LITERATE SUNDAY seeks to promote, inspire, and expose writers from across the world, anonymously.
LITERATE SUNDAY is a literary 'experiment'. This is a place for writers (new and career’d) to write with impunity, allowing our readers to judge each story without the prejudices of sex, race, gender, fame or friendship.
The stories must speak for itself.
Here at LITERATE SUNDAY, content is king.
Each Sunday you will receive a link to anonymous short stories of any genre, length, and style.
You can Comment, Critique, or Complement each story on our website: www.literatesunday.com.
Type in the password: Never Stop Writing (case sensitive and spaces included).
Please feel free to Complement, Critique, or Comment the stories on our website. That's what it's there for.
Do YOU have a story? Send it to us. If you have an anonymous story you want shared with our 1000+ membership, simply send your story to:

literatesunday@gmail.com

Make sure it's in WORD DOC FORMAT. That is the only way your story will be considered. We also publish our print literary journal: CATALOGUE, bi-annually. In CATALOGUE, our writers are given the opportunity to reveal themselves to the public and be published in PRINT.

CHECK OUT THE NEWEST EDITION OF 'CATALOGUE' HERE.

The PASSWORD, again, is one of our edicts:

Never Stop Writing
(case-sensitive and spaces included)

We have this 'moat around the castle' password to protect submitted stories. Many publications do not allow simultaneous submissions. This pass code protects the writer from that kind of scrutiny and allows them to publish afterwards with other journals.

Feel free to read our Archive, and Comment, Critique, or Compliment under each story, anonymously.

Say whatever you like. As long as it is not sexist, racist, or prejudiced, we will publish your comments.

Tell your writer friends.
Tell your reader friends.
Go enlist new members.

LITERATE SUNDAY is the only anonymous writers group in the world - assisting new and emerging writers from across 20 (and growing) countries.

Thank you for joining. And remember...

Never Stop Reading.
Never Stop Writing.
Sincerely,
LITERATE SUNDAY
